Emmetsburg and West Lyon battled to the lowest scoring game in Iowa high school football championship game history. The E'Hawks won the state's 1-A championship with a 3-0 win, which is the school's ninth. It also marked a new championship classification victory for Emmetsburg, which now has won titles in 3-A, 2-A and now 1-A. Only Wapsie Valley has won titles in three classifications. Jeff- Congratulations on a fantastic blog (and group of blogs). I have started an unofficial sports website for Davenport (Iowa) Assumption High School that will not only have a complete archive of past data and results, but will also follow currents developments and results, including on the football field, Assumption's #1 sport. I have linked your website on mine (http://knightpride.com) and was hoping I might get a reciprocal link from you, especially considering you linked our arch-rivals Bettendorf!

Thanks! I can be contacted on my blog or at admin@knightpride.com.
