Iowa City High beat Marshalltown 42-14 Friday for Iowa's 4-A championship.
Iowa Prep Sports reports running back Ellis Jordan had a big game in his career finale for the Little Hawks.

Harlan Wins 12th Iowa Football Title

Harlan didn't have any problems capturing its 12th title beating Pella 35-14 for Iowa 3-A championship.
The Chicago Tribune reports that the Cyclones offense was clicking on all cylinders in the first half.

Solon's Win Streak Reaches 41 Straight in Three-Peat

Iowa High School Football Huddle
Solon became the first 2-A team to win three straight titles by beating Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley 38-7.
The Spartans now own a 41-game win streak and joins Harlan and Decorah as the only schools to win three straight state titles. Harlan actually did the three-peat twice.
The Sioux City Journal report that the win closes out the great four-year career of James Morris, who scored 40 touchdowns this season.

The team from Council Bluffs capped a perfect 14-0 season with a 35-0 shutout of South Winneshiek. Jake Water, who led St. Alberts to the 2007 championship, rushed for three touchdowns this year victory.
